The VILLE IMPERIALE brand, created at the initiative of Rueil Malmaison, in partnership with the towns of Compiègne, Fontainebleau and Saint-Cloud, was launched on 21st October 2011 at the Château de Malmaison.The brand’s aim is to unite all the towns that, through their history and their heritage, can justify strong links with the First and Second French Empires. So, with a firm commitment to the development of a real network throughout the whole of France, the VILLE IMPERIAL brand seeks to increase the historical and tourism visibility of member towns in the eyes of the general public and tourism professionals.

Under the Imperial Heritage heading, you can find out about all the treasures in the member towns relating to the First and Second French Empires. In just one click, you can learn about their history by consulting the pages devoted to historical heritage and you can soak up the imperial atmosphere.
  
Under the Groups heading, you will find a tourist offer specially designed for associations, businesses and tourism professionals as well as all the practical information necessary to help you organise your visit.   Whether you wish to come independently or as a group, the Tourist Offices are at your disposal.   Information under the Imperial Town Network heading is specially intended for towns and Tourist Offices.
