Denis W. Potts received his Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1967 and his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Hastings in 1970. Mr. Potts has been engaged in the private practice of law in Honolulu since 1974. he was accepted as a fellow into the International Napoleonic Society in 2001, and has had a lifelong interest in Napoleon Bonaparte and the Napoleonic Era, more recently focusing on the Peninsular Wars. Mr. Potts will be presenting his first paper for the International Napoleonic Society at the upcoming conference in Malta, July 12-16, 2010.
