APPEAL FOR FUNDS:

“Madame Mere” is the title Napoleon honored his mother
with. 

“MADAME MERE - The Legend of Napoleon” is the name of this major new and exciting Broadway musical
production.
 
Madame Mere Productions Inc. is the production arm of
the musical, with the book and lyrics by David Chimay,
and the music by Richard Fortin.
 
The production company has raised funds for the
development of the creative aspect of the musical, but
now needs funds to further the development. 

The songs have been arranged and recorded by
outstanding artists who have produced professional
quality CD's.
 
Casting of actors, singers and dancers, with an
outstanding directorial staff, has progressed to the
point where we are ready to start production.
 
This wonderful story, the” Legend of Napoleon” as seen
through the loving, but critical eyes of his mother,
“Madame Mere",  is an original concept  - and we know
it will be successful if supported at this time and
promoted on a public stage.
 
It will expose a younger generation to the history of
Napoleon from his birth onward.
Why does he live on? Who was he? How does he compare
with the leaders of today? 
  How did he really die?      
Through song, and glorious staging this story will
touch the hearts and minds of everyone who sees and
hears it…  It connects Napoleon with his mother Madame
Mere: his love, Josephine, and the French people, at a
time when Europe , as we know it, was formed out of
the available raw material of the era and the creative
genius of Napoleon.
 
Many people have heard the production recordings of
the songs and love them.  The costumes will be
authentic and show the styling of the time.  The
staging is well along in planning with outstanding
scenic projections of the battles and great vistas to
open the stage to the grandeur that this story
deserves.
 
We now need additional funds to mount a workshop
production of the musical, where we will produce on
stage videos for promotion and presentation to
potential major investors.
 
 
We have the  enthusiastic backing of Dr. Ben Weider,
the President of the International Napoleonic Society.
 
 
Now is the time, 2007-2008, to launch “MADAME MERE
-The legend of Napoleon” on the world stage.
