ITEM DESCRIPTION
A gueridon antique round table having a portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte in the center, surrounded by portraits set in an elaborate French d'ore bronze ground of eighteen oval portraits of Napoleon's most trusted marshalls of France (Mortier, Suchet, Augereau, Ney, Lannes, Berthier, Soult, Lefebvre, Oudinot, Murat, Macdonald, Duroc, Moncey, Massena, Victor, Bessieres, Davout, Desaix, in three leafy d'ore bronze designs with "N" repeating between the oval portraits enhancing the rim. The top is mounted on a solid mahogany triangular pedestal surmounted with three bronzed swans, between each section are three full winged females. Overall dimensions 30 1/2 inches high by 33 1/2 inches round. Origin - France circa second half of the 19th Century.
